Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda), as a reservoir of knowledge, is playing a vital role in providing technical and institutional support in the field of water and power development. Chairman Wapda Tariq Hamid stated this while speaking at a seminar "Wapda Engineers-Challenges and Capacity of National Development" here on Monday. The seminar was organised by the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEP).

Addressing on this occasion, former chairman Wapda Shamsul Mulk said: "Wapda is engaged in executing much-needed mega projects of water resource development." He stressed the need for early completion of big reservoir so as to overcome water scarcity.
